Vulnerability to Strength
@juleshough once said in an episode of #DWTS, "Where vulnerability comes in, strength is born."
Machu Picchu mountain stands at an elevation of 3,082 meters or 10,111 feet, which is more than double the elevation than most of the mountains I’ve hiked in Washington state.
Thinking back on the hike reminded me a bit about life itself and all its ups and downs. A reminder to listn to yourself and be real with yourself, to remember that you can’t compare yourself to others because everyone holds their own set of struggles and their own set of joys. To know when you need to take a break and when you can push yourself past your limits to realize that there are no limits except the ones you make for yourself. A reminder to celebrate the small wins which makes basking in the joy of staring your goal, your vision in the face that much sweeter. Young & old from all walks of life, we’re in this journey together.
