Choose Wonder Over Worry: Move Beyond Fear and Doubt to Unlock Your Full Potential by Amber Rae
I tend to have a number of thoughts racing through my head, various to-do lists, worries, aspirations, etc., so when I stumbled upon this title, I thought “hey, why not!”. This book felt like a heart to heart with a close friend, a life/goals/fears facing session of finding your truth and removing the blocks to take action.

We’ve only got one shot at this beautiful, crazy, messy life. What shots will you take?
"Please don’t die with your gifts still inside."
It’s a common tendency to think how much success will this give me? Or how bad would with the failure be if I gave this a chance? But Amber pushes us to think beyond those commonalities to — regardless of anything, what is *it that you would pursue?
"What would you pursue if success or failure didn’t matter?"
Let’s transform the traditional definition of success and determining how/where to direct your life to that which makes you come alive.
"Coming alive is different…It’s measuring how much you’re learning and growing versus only assessing how much you’re earning and achieving."
It’s all a journey through the highs, the lows, and the in-betweens, and differentiating between the potential good to reach the potential great.
"The theme here is resilience and trust. It’s only by moving with the fear, doubt, and shame that emerges in the process of hearing “no”—and learning how to tune into the guidance of our inner truth instead—that we might find the right “yes.” This doesn’t mean it won’t be difficult or uncomfortable. Difficult and uncomfortable means that you’re doing the important work and growing."
May those gut feelings within your being and throughout your body serve as a reminder, as a compass.
"Anxiety is not your foe, it’s your friend…Because on the other side of our anxiety is our alignment with the path best suited for us."
