To infinity.
When you realize the exhibit you've been wanting to experience is about to head out of town, you change your plans on a gorgeous holiday and queue up a few hours to make sure you see it.
This was my Labor Day.
Despite grand plans to lazily sunbathe, we decided to camp out beneath a "tree" with our clutch Flexlite REI chairs (as much as I wanted to go actual camping over the weekend, the artsy version was a fair substitute.)
After nearly three hours of multitasked reading (waiting in line counted as the multitask), the queue quickly moved and we snagged our tickets for the last members night at the SAM! Shout out to member perks - get on it, took us long enough! And if you're looking to see this in person (amazing.), definitely get on it now and get ready to line up early.
Pictures don't do this exhibit justice, but they will do for now....
“It is my wish to leave a message to the whole world from the universe, a message of love and peace to the people of the world.”
“Our Earth is only one polka dot among a million stars in the cosmos. Polka dots are a way to infinity.”
What'd you get up to this weekend? Hope it was a goodie 😎
